My Observations
Back to the everyday “adventures.” After grocery shopping to replenish the missing food, time to tackle outdoor things.
Gather the remainder of the leaves for garden compost. Then, get remainder of garden ready for – “The Long Winter’s Nap.”
I can’t sit still for long. Now, need to focus on sorting the over 22,000 photos I took, to what I might want to share each day of the journal. Even with my increasing the number of photos in the daily albums, much more I could have shared. I preferred to have you view some other photos online through the various web links.
After photo sort, then formulate the daily story to share as – My Observations. Yes, I may not remember it the way the others did in our group. That’s OK. I realize when we share our story, we focus on different things. My writings probably reflect that. Needles to say, some time spent in post-tour research to fill the gaps in my learning. The summarizing in the journal, took more days than the trip.
As I mentioned to others – this is my journal. I do it to help me remember what I saw. I have been fortunate to have many respond to prior journals with comments, that make me appreciate their interest. Even if they know they will not get to see those places, at least learn from someone who was able to. It was not a job, but a pleasure.

Hopefully, God willing, Carol & I can share our experience this time next year, as we have a special 50th wedding anniversary adventure. Those 50+ years we have known each other, have been an adventure of their own too.
